Homes & Property is an Evening Standard rebranded version of findaproperty.com. The site is simple and quite easy to navigate, with results which are of average quality. Perhaps a few more than average are not marked as sold, when, in fact, they have been for some time. This can make the site quite frustrating to use, because the effects of inflation make these properties stand out as bargins, although it must be said that, after a short period of using the site you do get used to this cycle of inevitable disappointment.

One of the distinguising features of the site is that it allows individuals who are selling their property without an agent to fill out a form and place a ‘for sale by owner’ style advertisment. This costs £30 for 30 days, £45 for 60 days or £75 for 6 months. These advertisments are very much in the minority on the site, but are normally of very high quality.

The site offers little help if your requirements are non-standard and many of the locations which you can click on contain no results. The site offers refinement of your results by location, sales or lettings, and also allowing you to make the distinction between flats and houses. All in all, Homes & Property can be considered a simple site, for simple people, 1 to 2 stars.
