Rightmove, Primelocation, FindaProperty

Launched in 1997 by Hallmark Projects, FindaProperty is now owned by the Daily Mail and General Trust. The portal is extremely strong in the London and South East, and has a greater focus on editorial than other property portals.The site had a major redesign in Summer 2006, with a more modern feel. Coverage isn’t as great as Rightmove’s but is very decent in London especially. Findaproperty recently added area information such as average prices and key facts for each property. The also have a simple Google Map to see the location of each property. Thumbs up to them for marking at least some sold properties as sold. However, this may be more of an advertising move that a useful feature.
